Powder Room Make-Over WITH SERENA & LILY
I feel so lucky to have partnered with Serena & Lily on our powder room make-over and I'm BEYOND excited to finally share the big reveal with you all!
I mean, let's talk about impact! POW!
As a reminder, this is how our new, clean, all-white blank slate of a powder room looked minutes before the wallpaper was installed....
And, then, boom, the AFTER....
Let me just put it out there that I’m a HUGE fan of Serena & Lily and believe their products can make any and all rooms look gorgeous. They embody coastal, cool, effortless, California style with sheer perfection, and recommending their products is always a no-brainer. And as you can imagine, collaborating with them on a space in our new house has really been a dream come true!
Anyway, in deciding what to do with our powder room, I had to take into consideration that it's the only bathroom on the main floor and in clear eye shot of the all-white kitchen.
With SO many stunning prints to choose from, I teeter-tottered between a few, but quickly decided on the Palm Print Wallpaper in navy. I mean, does this pattern not have my name written ALL over it?!
In deciding on a wall mirror, I had to find one that fit the 29" width of real estate above the pedestal sink. No easy feat! Fortunately, the Lawson Ledge Mirror fit like a glove and I can never say no to a big round mirror, let alone one made of recessed bamboo and a white lacquered finish.
In terms of lighting, the Savannah Double Sconce was an easy choice, and a major improvement from the ugly builder grade sconce that the house came with. I ended up flipping ours downward after installation because there was quite a bit of space between the top of the mirror and the electrical wiring hole-thingy (clearly I’m no electrician!), but I think it looks just fine.
Not to be forgotten, the Banded Border Bath Hand Towel is luxuriously soft and the Small La Jolla Lidded Basket is an ideal hiding spot for extra toilet paper. Love when function meets beauty!
I’m insanely happy with how this powder room turned out and can’t thank Serena & Lily enough for helping make my palm-loving dreams come true!
If you had to choose a room to wallpaper today, which room would it be? What print would you choose?!
