Kitchen Conundrum
Confession: I currently have white kitchens on the brain. They're just so stunning, classic, crisp, cool, modern, and downright beautiful. I know I'll love them forever and ever and will never stop recommending them to others. No matter what anyone says. Period. End of story.
With this in mind, our beautiful new home has one big flaw: It currently has light brown walnut cabinets. [gasp!]
Don't get me wrong, they are high-quality and quite good looking, and nothing a little white subway tile backslash to the ceiling and trio of pendant lights over the island couldn't help make more "my style"...but they're just not white. Even when I squint.
Now, I can imagine there are lots of people out there that would find this desire to change up new wood cabinets sacrilegious, but I can't stop envisioning what they would look like painted white. (FYI - they'd look gorge!)
So....as I'm sure you can imagine....I'm currently in the process of pricing out the cost to have them professionally painted. We'll see if it's even doable in the budget....but you know me, I'll likely obsess until I can make it happen.
Until then, here are some inspiring white kitchens I've come across during my Pinterest stalking....
Aren't they all such lookers?
What would you do if you had new wood cabinets....would you paint them or leave them as is?
