Dec 5 SHIRA'S TUESDAY TRIO: A HOME OFFICE

For this week's installment of SHIRA'S TUESDAY TRIO I'm sharing a room near and dear to my heart, and one I spend a lot of time in: the home office. As a work-at-home mom, it's an important space that I can shut the door and be productive alone (or at least that's the ideal....many times I have little co-workers playing under my desk!). Whether I'm using it to source products, create design plans, FaceTime with clients, blog, peruse other blogs and websites, or just pay bills, I wanted ours to feel inspiring, colorful, and functional.

The reality though is that many times a home office becomes a catchall for hand-me-downs and mix-and-matched furniture. Perfect example: ours currently has Leo's crib and our old family room rug rolled up and off to the side. A home office can so easily evolve into a multi-functional space that doubles as a playroom or guest bedroom, or makeshift storage unit!
